PpThe Field Product Marketing Manager drives the local product portfolio’s life cycle in close collaboration with the Business Unit relevant product managers and the local Sales team. Responsible for the business management of the selected local product portfolio, but it may assume cross-country responsibilities as well. The go‑to person and the expert in their product portfolio in the supported local sales organization(s), and the main internal and external communicator about the products, who is fully able to translate technical features into commercial messaging. /p h3Product Life Cycle Management On The Local Market /h3 ul liConduct market gap and product fit analysis to select products fitting the particular market needs. /li liDefine price positioning on the local market. Ensure product margins and profitability for the relevant portfolio. /li liDefine the relevant service offer for the supported products together with sales and service team. /li liContribute to New Product Marketing Customer Requirements /li liProvide new product price and price list modifications for their portfolio to be entered in the ERP tool and communicated to customers. /li liCoordinate with sales to fill in BTA (Business Target Agreement) with regards to expected revenues and launch plan activities. /li liOwn New Product Launches (NPL) in their portfolio for their geography (phase in/phase out), including providing forecast and financial expectations in yearly Profit Plans. /li liOwn End of Life process for their portfolio in their geography. /li liInput into product local sales strategy and contribute to its execution with the sales team and partners. /li liHelp local Sales leadership develop and deploy an action plan to deliver the strategy and grow product sales. /li liRepresent Eaton in local standards committee and norm groups related to the focus products. /li liCoordinate certification of localized products and solutions with local test labs and authorities. /li /ul h3Market Insights /h3 ul liCollect and provide local geography Voice of Customer (VoC) and regulatory insights to Product Line Product Managers in the relevant Business Unit(s) to support specifications and business cases for new product development and adjustments of the existing portfolio. /li liRun specific solicited VoC campaigns for future Level 1 or 2 New Product Development. /li liProvide input on competitive local analysis of supported product ranges, including offer, product details, pricing, and other local competition market intelligence. /li /ul h3Marketing Campaigns /h3 ul liSupport Global Segment Content Marketing Campaigns COE with insights to develop and update buyer personas and journey maps for selected personas. /li liProvide educated insights to field segment demand generation team to possibly localize or alter the segment campaign (e.g. for a local hero product). /li /ul h3Sales And Partner Enablement /h3 ul liEnsure adapted and relevant sales enablement content materials are developed, validate and apply any localization if/as needed (trainings, support material). /li liDeliver Value Sales trainings to sales teams and partners (commercial persona) related to their own product portfolio. /li liDeliver deeper technical trainings to technical personas at partners and customers related to the product portfolio. /li /ul h3Strategy Development And Execution /h3 ul liInput product-focused insights for local geography segment Playing to Win including prework and workshop contribution. /li /ul h3Brand Awareness /h3 ul liBe the Eaton spokesperson during events and PR opportunities as a local product portfolio expert. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pBachelor´s degree in technical studies or/and marketing /p h3Skills /h3 ul li5+ years of experience in marketing/technical role in the Life Safety Industry (Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting), which should have allowed to develop an excellent understanding of the Italian Iberian market, channels and the related competitive landscape /li liUnderstanding business basics including revenue projections, business metrics and financial planning, as well as pricing /li liAdvanced knowledge of Electrical products and Fundamentals of electricity (advanced knowledge in EN standards as well as Life Safety Codes is an advantage) /li liAt ease to collect and analyze Voice of Customer (VoC) and regulatory insights. /li liMarketing skills: understanding of demand generation campaigns, digital marketing /li liFluent in English /li liExperience in working with cross functional teams in a dynamic environment /li liExperience of working within a matrix organization /li liTranslation of technical features into commercial messaging /li liExperience in working in a comparable marketing / product management role /li liRelevant industry/sector experience /li liCommunication: excellent verbal and written communication skills /li liStrong presentation skills with the ability to be persuasive in front of own sales people, customers, partners, industry influencers, competitors, policymakers /li liSelf-starter, energetic with great collaboration skills in a matrix environment /li liTeam player across geographies, product lines and functions /li liAnalytical Thinking /li liPassionate about customers and understanding how to solve their challenges /li liBe flexible on working arrangements – willingness to travel (up to 40%) within the geographical scope frequently, EMEA infrequently /li liValid driving license /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
