Job Description - Front Office Agent
Job Number: HOT0C446 – Front Office Agent travels to Hilton Rome, Europa 287, Rome 144. The role focuses on daily reception duties, guest interaction, and support of front‑office operations within the Hilton brand.
Responsibilities
* Run the front desk, managing check‑in/out procedures efficiently.
* Respond to guest queries promptly and maintain a high level of customer service.
* Keep the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisor aware of relevant guest feedback.
* Demonstrate Hilton’s customer‑service standards at all times.
* Understand hotel room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and product knowledge.
* Use up‑selling techniques to maximize occupancy and promote hotel services.
* Handle foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash in accordance with hotel credit policy.
* Answer switchboard calls as required and receive guest deliveries/messages effectively.
* Act in compliance with fire, health and safety regulations and front‑of‑house policies.
* Attend necessary training courses and maintain brand standards.
* Assist other departments and maintain good working relationships with team members.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a customer‑focused industry.
* Positive attitude with strong communication skills.
* Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Competent IT proficiency and knowledge of the OnQ System.
