We are looking for a Junior Group & Events Travel Agent
The role supports the operational management of requests related to groups, corporate events, meetings, collective itineraries, and customized travel solutions, working closely with clients, internal teams, suppliers, and partners.
It is ideal for someone who wants to grow in the business travel industry with a specific focus on group travel, corporate events, travel logistics, and complex operational requests.
Responsibilities
* Manage the main operational phases of group and event requests: needs analysis, solution sourcing, option proposal, negotiation, confirmation, and follow‑up.
* Coordinate key travel and logistics services: flights, hotels, transfers, trains, and associated group trip services.
* Interface with clients, Sales, Customer Success, suppliers, and partners to ensure smooth, clear, and professional request handling.
* Negotiate with partners and suppliers to achieve conditions aligned with client needs and business margin objectives.
* Ensure adherence to timelines, procedures, commercial conditions, and budget throughout the process.
* Prepare and maintain necessary operational documentation such as contracts, rooming lists, vouchers, operational recaps, and reports.
* Monitor deadlines, options, cancellation conditions, confirmations, and follow‑up required for correct request management.
* Support the team with operational changes, urgent requests, or last‑minute needs to provide a high‑level client experience.
Qualifications
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with respect for deadlines and priorities.
* Attention to detail, autonomy, and capability to work in dynamic, non‑standardized contexts.
* Good communication skills with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Problem‑solving attitude and management of operational urgencies.
* Fluency in Italian and good/fluency in English.
* Good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
* Familiarity with digital tools and willingness to learn new operational platforms.
* Experience in travel, hospitality, group/event, or customer operations is a plus.
* Knowledge of additional languages or travel tools such as GDS, booking portals, or operational platforms is a plus.

* Type of contract: 1‑year fixed‑term contract with potential for permanent conversion.
* Work schedule: full‑time (40 hours per week) with rotating shifts that may include weekends, holidays, and night shifts.

* Salary: starting at level 5, with gross annual compensation between €20,000 and €26,000, in accordance with the National Collective Labour Agreement for Commerce.
