Fund Services Operations comprises the core activities related to fund administration, including transfer agency services, investor record keeping, subscription and redemption processing, and regulatory reporting.
The Local Transfer Agent team plays a key role in ensuring the accurate execution of transactions and maintaining high-quality client servicing for local investors and distributors.
FSO staff supports the Head of Fund Services Operations in operational efficiency and improving overall service delivery.
Look after the administrative activities relating to subscriptions, redemptions and switch orders received by the Distributors appointed in Italy by a Management Company that promotes a foreign Fund in Italy
Send the orders to the foreign Transfer Agents based in Luxembourg, Ireland, France, Malta, etc.
Intermediate the payments related to subscriptions, redemptions and dividends from/to the Distributors and from/to the Transfer Agents
Calculate the withholding tax on capital gain
Manage portfolios transfers between Distributors
Send to Investors notice calling for general and extraordinary meetings (proxy voting forms management) and any other document the Company requests the investors to provide
Managing the orders received from domestic banks in foreign mutual funds
Following up the correct deals of the orders to the relative transfer agent in order to process it correctly
Monitoring and analysis of the accounting impact of such operations on cash account of SICAV
Recovering all operations not automatically loaded from the procedure, providing the partial or total rejection of operations (after notification to Clients)
Recording requests about refunds, subscriptions, switches, received from Clients
Realizing the reconciliation of accounts inflows/refunds and BOE of each SICAV or OICR
Sending the operations executed to the counterpart
Qualifications
Studying & experience:
Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in economics
Basic knowledge of Investment Funds
Language skills:
English - Fluent (CEFR Level B2-C1), Italian - Elementary (CEFR Level A1-A2)
Technical, operational & soft skills:
Intermediate level in Excel
Elementary level in Access
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail and rigorous work ethic
Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
Inquisitive and eager to learn
Collaborative and proactive
VIE assignment details
This VIE in Torino will begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment.
It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
Applicants must provide formal proof of a valid M2 diploma before the assignment starts.
Candidates cannot apply for a VIE in their own country of citizenship.
