Overview

Pharmacy Field Sales Representative premises for Boehringer Animal Health, with IQVIA as the recruitment partner. The selected candidate will promote Boehringer Animal Health products within the pharmacy channel, maintain strong client relationships, and drive sales performance in the assigned territory. Working area 1 : Modena, Reggio, Parma, Mantova. Working area 2 : Bologna, Ferrara, Ravenna and Forlì Cesena. Residence : Bologna or Ravenna.


Responsibilities

* Build and foster strong customer relationships within the territory.
* Achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
* Follow business strategies to maximize performance within the territory.
* Work mainly with pharmacists to understand needs, create customer value, and maintain or strengthen business partnerships.


Accountabilities

* Increase market share and achieve sales results within the territory.
* Maintain a high level of customer engagement promoting the company, its products, and activities at all market levels.
* Adhere to communication needs and manage the territory with timely follow-ups with customers and partners.
* Identify decision-makers and influencers within accounts / pharmacies and develop partnerships ensuring support and promotion of Company products.
* Monitor market trends, competitor products, and customer needs to identify opportunities; share market feedback with peers.
* Impact in pharmacy : train pharmacists, negotiate promotions, collect orders, and implement agreed activities.
* Collect feedback and insights on customer preferences and market trends.
* Participate in industry events, fairs and conferences to network and stay updated on industry trends.
* Maintain account / customer information in CRM; share learnings with team and cross-functional partners; identify business opportunities with management.


Regulatory and / or Organizational Requirements

* Comply with Italian law requirements, MOH and regulatory procedures, health and safety rules, proper use of work equipment and PPE; report dangerous conditions; follow the company Ethical Code and SOP, and AISA ethical code.


Job Complexity

* Responsible for several clients and accounts within a geographic area; requires effective sales and customer management, time management, prioritization, and mobility across the territory.
* Use the AH sales model to engage customers, understand needs, create value, and advance sales by positioning products based on the action plan and customer insights; promote positive client relationships and leverage multichannel marketing tools with targeted customers.

Job Expertise

* Provide product information to customers to optimize animal care.
* Knowledge of the pharmacy channel is essential; knowledge of the animal health industry and species-specific sector is critical, including business acumen to understand competitive products.
* Experience in customer engagement and sales using a consultative approach.


Minimum Education / Degree Requirements

* Vet / Scientific degree preferred; economics knowledge is essential.


Required Capabilities (Skills, Experience, Competencies)

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales / scientific information in the pharmacy field and customer management, preferably in animal health or FMCG.
* Business planning, account management, and customer prioritization capabilities.
* Strong presentation, written and interpersonal communication skills.
* Analytical skills; knowledge of MS Office.
* Well-developed sales and negotiation skills.
* Willingness to travel (overnight stays may be required).
* Must possess a valid driver’s license (depending on territory).
* Must reside within the assigned geographic territory.
* Fluent Italian; English is a plus.


Offer

* Permanent direct contract with the client (Chemical).
