The candidate will be joining the HQ Motorsport Commercial Team, more specifically in the Business Development team, and will have the opportunity to learn in a dynamic, stimulating and fast growing environment such as Motorsport. Pirelli Motorsport operates across more than 250 Motorsport Championships worldwide. Starting from day one, under the tutor supervision, the candidate will progressively get familiar with the Motorsport Commercial activities, by contributing to the analysis of the overall market environment to understand competitive dynamics, potential risks and areas where new opportunities may emerge. Your main activities will be:
* Forecasting and Demand Planning;
* Conducting Market analysis to explore new opportunities in the Circuit, Off-road and Street legal segments;
* Supporting the team in understanding Motorsport Championships environments to develop strategies and projects, with a focus on how products and services are positioned in each series;
* Helping prepare reports and summaries that track how championships evolve over time, including entries, performance indicators and any commercial trends worth monitoring;
* Supporting order management activities by interfacing with Supply Chain and back office.
* Supporting the preparation of monthly materials and presentations used in internal meetings and strategic reviews.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
As a Business Development Intern within the Motorsport Commercial team, you will work closely with your tutor and with colleagues in the team as well as the wider Motorsport Commercial organization. Throughout the internship, you will have the chance to contribute to several ongoing activities and gain exposure to the way Motorsport programmes are managed from a commercial perspective.
In particular, you will be involved in:
* Assisting with the preparation and consolidation of key business KPIs used for internal discussions and management updates.
* Looking at trends in new or growing Motorsport segments and providing early insights that may help shape future commercial decisions.
* Collaborating on activities related to price positioning and commercial offers, taking into account cost structures, logistical dynamics, and competitive benchmarks.
* Staying in regular contact with global Pirelli Motorsport commercial teams to exchange information, identify potential improvements, and help maintain alignment between HQ and regional markets.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
*Master’s Degree in Economics/Management Engineering/Business Management/Motorsport Management
*Fluent English. Additional languages are a plus.
*Commercial acumen with an interest for Motorsport environment, numbers and statistics
*Demonstrable high-end analytical and numeric skill.
