Mission
IBA is strengthening its Purchasing organization and is looking for experienced SourcingCategory Managers, each responsible for one of the following strategic areas:
1. Mechanical Components & Systems
2. Electrical Components & Systems
As a Sourcing Category Manager, you will define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your category to maximize value, ensure supply continuity, and drive cost optimization while supporting innovation and sustainability.
You will lead a team of sourcing professionals and collaborate across the organization to ensure your category strategy supports IBA’s operational and strategic goals.

3. Define and implement a long-term strategy for your category, aligned with IBA’s global procurement objectives.
4. Lead end-to-end sourcing activities and key supplier negotiations.
5. Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships to drive performance, innovation, and cost efficiency.
6. Manage and develop a team of sourcing professionals, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
7. Deliver measurable cost savings and value creation, ensuring compliance with company standards and sustainability goals.
What we value
8. Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
9. Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management in an industrial company
10. At least 3 years in team leadership or people management.
11. Proven track record in category strategy development and cost optimization.
12. Experience with direct material categories (mechanical or electrical components).
13. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
14. Fluent in English; speaking French is required (you should be able to have a professional conversation)
15. Proficiency with procurement systems, ideally SAP
