Ph3About the role /h3pFour Seasons Hotel Firenze is currently looking for an experienced Shift Engineer to join the team. The Shift Engineer diagnoses and provides service and repairs to hotel equipment, responding to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies. /ph3What you will do /h3ulliImplement and handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs. /liliDiagnose and handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers, and associated equipment throughout the entire building. /liliRespond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public areas in a timely manner. /liliBe familiar with emergency procedures and respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc. /liliClean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stops, and maintain an organized department and hotel. /liliInstall or relocate any additional equipment or existing equipment when necessary. /liliAssist with energy conservation programs in the hotel. /liliInstall electrical and mechanical systems for renovations, outlet additions, and associated equipment, and provide electrical setups for exhibits including maintenance of those setups. /liliAssist with training all department staff to ensure efficient operation, proper maintenance, and repair of equipment. /li /ulh3What you bring /h3ulliAt least 1 year of experience in a similar position. /liliExcellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality, and a can‑do approach to any request. /liliWorking technical knowledge of general building maintenance and basic ability to operate computer equipment. /liliReading, writing, and oral proficiency in the Italian language.
