Job Description: Senior Back-end Engineer at XTEL
We are a professional team of recruiting specialists searching for talents in Ukraine, Europe, and the USA. Currently, we are seeking a Senior Back-end Engineer for XTEL. The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for product design and implementation, developing solutions to support field sales management and trade optimization processes, and managing complex planning and execution activities. You will play a key role in transforming the solution to SaaS, focusing on refactoring and service transformation.
1. Lead the development and refactoring of product capabilities, analyzing information and providing technical recommendations.
2. Support design reviews to ensure solutions align with architecture, security, scalability, and maintainability standards.
3. Gather requirements, design, implement, deploy, and monitor services in production.
4. Provide development estimates for new features and enhancements within Scrum teams.
5. Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and community initiatives.
6. Develop and maintain high-quality, secure, and efficient software.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, UX designers, other developers, and sales/marketing professionals, mainly working on a SaaS solution based on Microsoft technologies and hosted on Azure.
8. Assist in architecting solutions to support sales management and trade processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
* Experience in legacy code refactoring.
* Proficiency in C# programming.
* Practical experience applying SOLID principles and Design Patterns.
* Experience with writing Unit and Integration Tests.
* Fluent English communication skills for daily interactions across Europe.
* Knowledge of professional software engineering practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
* Experience developing distributed, scalable, high-volume transaction systems.
* Experience working within a microservice architecture.
* Database query performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
* Experience in the Consumer Goods/Retail sector and familiarity with processes like trade promotions, sales agreements, and retail execution is advantageous.
