Our client is a well-established international B2B services organisation operating through a fast-paced, field-oriented and network-based commercial model.
They are looking to hire a Sales Director based in Milan to drive commercial performance across Italy by working closely with local sales teams, strengthening day-to-day execution and translating group strategy into concrete actions for the Italian market.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Management, this is a highly operational, hands-on leadership role suited to a sales leader who enjoys being close to the field, coaching teams, improving execution and driving results.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support and develop sales teams across Italy to improve performance, conversion and commercial discipline
* Stay close to day-to-day sales activity, pipeline management, client interactions and team performance
* Coach and support sales managers and salespeople to improve execution and drive results
* Translate group commercial priorities into practical and actionable local plans
* Monitor KPIs, reporting, pipeline visibility and conversion metrics to identify improvement opportunities
* Drive accountability, commercial focus and execution across the sales organisation
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to align around business priorities and customer needs
* Remain connected to the market and customers to support commercial growth opportunities
Candidate Profile
* Fluent in Italian and English.
* Proven experience leading sales teams across multiple locations, branches, regions or territories within a high-activity B2B services environment.
* Strong track record of driving sales growth, improving conversion rates and developing commercial teams.
* Hands-on and operational leadership style, with strong coaching, people management and field execution capabilities.
* Data-driven mindset, with the ability to monitor KPIs, analyse sales performance and turn insights into concrete action plans.
* Comfortable operating within an international group structure while adapting priorities to the local market.
* Results-oriented, pragmatic and execution-focused.
Profiles from purely industrial, manufacturing, product-led or technical sales environments may be less aligned unless they include strong services, field sales and people management experience.

* Salary up to €100,000 gross per annum depending on experience
