Experteer OverviewIn this role, you lead the property's sales and marketing efforts to achieve bookings and revenue targets. A core focus is building long-term, value-based customer relationships while delivering Marriott's service standards.ResponsibilitiesDevelop strategic account plans for demand generators in the market and manage reactive and proactive sales effortsDefine and execute marketing communications with Regional Marketing CommunicationsProvide market intelligence to adapt sales strategies to market and economic trendsMonitor market position using STAR reports, competitive shopping, and other data; adjust strategies accordinglyResearch competitors' sales approaches to grow occupancy, RevPAR, and market shareParticipate in sales strategy meetings and contribute to weekly and overall strategyGenerate innovative marketing ideas and deployment plans to grow market shareCoordinate participation with Area Sales and Group Sales; act as primary sales contact for GM and leadershipAdvise customers and act as their advocate; own sales processes and contractsLiaise with Area Sales, Group Sales, Revenue Management, Event Management, and other departmentsEngage in sales calls to acquire and close business; identify PR opportunities and orchestrate related activitiesSupport crisis communications for the General Manager; uphold Marriott Customer Service and Brand StandardsOversee operational aspects of booked business (proposals, contracts, correspondence)Ensure xrdztoy seamless turnover between sales and operations; uphold high service levelsMonitor guest issue resolution from the sales process and escalate appropriatelyManage the marketing budget to fund property campaigns and collateralInterface with Regional Marketing Communications for regional and national promotionsDevelop property-wide marketing strategies to meet brand and owner objectivesQualifications3-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related majorThree years of experience in a similar position #J-18808-Ljbffr
