OverviewOur Brand Manager, Italy will lead the launch and development of ILIA brand in the Italian market, overseeing both its strategic and operational development. The role is key in defining the brand positioning, building desirability, and ensuring consistency with premium beauty standards, contributing to establishing the brand as a category reference. The Brand Manager is responsible for planning and executing marketing activities, coordinating product launches, and developing communication campaigns, ensuring an effective and distinctive go-to-market strategy. They work closely with the brand’s commercial representative for Italy and with external partners to ensure the proper implementation of brand strategies across all channels, guaranteeing consistency, quality, and results.This role is an on-site position and open to candidates are based in and maintain work authorization in Milan, Italy.Note: This position is cross-posted in partnership with Clarins. Please see the information notice in the application for more details.Definition and implementation of the local brand strategy, with a strong focus on the launch phase and on building brand equity in the Italian market, in line with international guidelinesDevelopment and management of brand positioning, ensuring consistency with brand values and overseeing the entire product lifecycle (development, launch, relaunch)Planning, coordination, and monitoring of product launches, ensuring an effective and competitive market introduction in Italy, including pricing and forecasting definition in close collaboration with the international teamBrand budget management, with continuous monitoring of performance and KPIs (sell-in, sell-out, market share), ensuring target achievement and investment optimizationManagement of the product portfolio and in-store positioning strategy across selected retail channelsCross-functional collaboration with HQ (sales, trade marketing, retail, digital, training) and coordination with national stakeholders to ensure an integrated and consistent launch across all touchpoints and continuous monitoringMonitoring and optimization of marketing campaign performance and initiativesDevelopment and implementation of promotional activities and consumer-centric activation plans aimed at increasing traffic, conversion, and loyalty, with a strong focus on brand launch and customer base buildingSupervision of brand image across all touchpoints (retail, e-commerce, visual merchandising, events), ensuring consistent and high-level customer experienceImplementation of Social and Digital plans nationwide in collaboration with the international team, with a focus on building awareness and engagement both during launch and post-launch phases in the Italian marketManagement of influencer marketing and PR activities, as well as online and offline advertising, including the creation of tailored content and campaignsAnalysis of the Italian market, beauty trends, and competitor activities, identifying growth opportunities and adapting global strategies to local specificitiesPromotion of a results-driven, innovation-oriented culture focused on the progressive long-term success of the brand.
Job RequirementsEducation/DegreeBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or equivalent fieldsMaster’s degree (preferred), especially in Marketing or Luxury ManagementBackground Including Total Years Of ExperienceKnowledge of the beauty and/or cosmetics sector3–5 years of experience in marketing or brand managementBackground in the beauty industry, preferably in makeupTechnical SkillsStrategic and operational marketingGood knowledge of the digital and influencer sector, with strong interest in social mediaPreferably an active personal digital profile with a significant number of followersExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelProject management skillsData analysis and KPIs (sell-in, sell-out)LanguageFluent in English and ItalianKey AttributesStrong aesthetic sense and attention to detailCreativity and innovationOrganizational skillsAnalytical skillsFlexibility and dynamismAbout ILIAILIA makes clean skin-centric beauty.
