We are seeking a Head Sommelier to lead our wine program for the upcoming season. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liAnticipate guests’ needs and handle guest complaints, providing an excellent and personalized guest experience according to our service standards /li liCooperate with the Restaurant Manager for staff development /li liDevelop special events focused on wine /li liManage inventory and requisitions: assist in monitoring stock levels and ordering replacement deliveries /li liAvoid waste and control beverage margins /li liWork with the bar manager to establish the wine selection /li liEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations /li liFully responsible for banqueting wine orders and consumption /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMinimum of 3 years experience in the same role within the luxury hotel industry /li liExperience in a fine dining restaurant (Michelin recognition is a plus) /li liFluent in English and Italian; a third language preferred /li liSommelier AIS or FISAR certification /li /ul pHe or she will report to the Restaurant Manager.
