Overview

With a 2-3 years’ experience, the Product Manager is responsible for the development and lifecycle of brand portfolio and its product innovation (innovation, renovation, redesign). The fulfilment of the mission links innovation product development with a strong customer centric approach, aligned with the company’s strategic goals. The PM acts as the voice of the consumer and the orchestrator of cross functional collaboration to deliver value driven solution for the market and professional hair care channel. You will drive the development, launch, and lifecycle of a key hair care & beauty brand of Pettenon Cosmetics portfolio, blending consumer insights, market trends, and brand strategy to create innovative and high-performing products that resonate with target audiences and strengthen brand equity. You will translate consumer insights into concepts and innovative product design, coordinating cross functional teams through the product development phases end-to-end, from idea phase to market launch.

This includes creating the concept from insight / trend and consumer analysis, seizing opportunities, identifying growth drivers, initiating the innovation process, briefing cross functional teams and coordinating project development phases (working with Mktg Research Agencies, R&D, Technical, Operations, Communication, Procurement and Legal depts). You will develop tools and materials to launch and support sell in / out (POP, consumer leaflet, technical brochures, GWPs), together with the Field Education Mgr and Trade Mktg Mgr. You will structure compelling briefs, manage external design agencies, coordinate internal cross functional project flows, and drive the brand growth and innovation roadmap. You will create and deliver presentations for external customers, the internal sales force, agencies, during briefs and sales canvass.

Main responsibilities are organized around the following areas:


Responsibilities

* Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute the product strategy aligned with brand positioning and market needs.
* Innovation & Development: Lead ideation and development of new products, from concept to launch, in collaboration with R&D, packaging, regulatory, and supply chain teams.
* Market & Trend Analysis: Monitor beauty trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and gaps.
* Project Management: Manage timelines, budgets, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely and successful product launches.
* Go-to-Market Planning: Partner with trade marketing, sales, and education teams to develop launch campaigns, training materials, and go-to-market strategies and sell in / out materials.
* Performance Tracking: Analyze product performance, consumer feedback, and sales data to optimize existing portfolio and inform future development.
* Additional activities: Preparation and presentation of launches / carry-overs to distributors / agents / customers / internal teams; collaboration with Communication Dept for content creation and copies; updating brand materials (catalogue and product map) and launch book; creating product sheets / materials for online (copy and images); briefing external agencies, coordinating product shoots, and internal project management (e.g., R&D); participating in fairs and events with presentations and meetings; supporting Customer Service with structured client requests.


Requirements

* Degree in Economics / Marketing / Digital Marketing.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in multinational contexts, preferably in the beauty industry HQ; FMCG HQ experience is a plus.
* Product development and portfolio management skills; marketing driven, creative and innovative with analytical approach.
* Result oriented, curious and open mindset; marketing / go-to-market skills, digital acumen, sales know-how.
* Scientific know-how is a plus; strong team player, project leader; ability to inspire trust; collaborative with clear communication and proactive approach to innovation.
* SAP / Centric (PLM) knowledge is a plus; Italian and English fluency.
