Senior Accountant / Finance – Milan, ItalyOur client, a multinational Oil & Gas company (~€190M turnover), is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage the AFC area of the Italian subsidiary.In this central, high-impact role, you will handle general accounting, financial closings, international taxation, and reporting to the Parent Company, working closely with external accountants and auditors.What You’ll Do:Manage the general ledger and monthly, quarterly, annual closingsPrepare statutory financial statements and support consolidated reportingOversee EU/foreign VAT (Belgium, Netherlands, Germany), intercompany flows, AR/AP, and treasurySupport budgeting, forecasting, KPI monitoring, and continuous process improvementWhat We’re Looking For:7–10 years in AFC / Senior Accounting roles in multinational companiesStrong knowledge of EU VAT, foreign VAT, and triangulationsExperience with external audits (Big 4 preferred)Excellent Excel skills and fluent EnglishHands-on, proactive, able to work in a small, agile teamWhat We Offer:Dynamic international environmentOpportunities for growth and expanded responsibilities
