Symrise - always inspiring more Your Role We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our business development efforts across Italy and Greece. This strategic role is responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing profitability, and ensuring the successful execution of our sales strategy in these key markets. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven track record in sales management, pricing strategy, and team development. Market Development: Drive business development initiatives in Italy and Greece, identifying new opportunities and expanding market presence. Revenue & Profitability Management: Monitor and manage revenue, gross profitability, and profit contribution to meet or exceed set targets. Performance Monitoring: Track monthly sales and gross profit performance; implement timely corrective actions when necessary. Pricing Strategy: Own and align the pricing strategy with business units, product teams, pricing managers, and Business Planning Partners (BPPs). Team Leadership: Coach, mentor, and develop the sales force-including account managers and business support teams-to ensure excellence in key account management. Strategic Contribution: Actively contribute to the regional strategy by providing market-specific insights and defending local business needs. About You Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within a multinational or matrix organization. Strong understanding of the Italian and Greek markets, including cultural and business nuances. Experience in the savoury products sector is highly desirable, particularly in managing key accounts and developing market strategies within the food industry. Proven experience in overseeing and managing all aspects of a business's financial performance, including revenues, costs, and overall profitability. Exceptional leadership and people development skills. Fluent in English and Italian ; Greek is a plus. Willingness to travel frequently across both countries.
