Technical Sales Engineer Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our Industrial Technologies Europe team in a remote capacity. This role will focus on maintaining up-to-date sales engagement programs, developing new business opportunities, and establishing customer rapport with products and services.
Main Responsibilities:
* Stay current with product launches or transitions to ensure effective sales engagement strategies.
* Develop and execute plans to expand market share through partnerships with key Light Commercial Refrigerator and Freezer Agents, OBMs, and OEMs.
* Collaborate closely with customers across various departments, including engineering, purchasing/sourcing, operations, product management, and quality representatives.
* Provide customers with comprehensive information through presentations, highlighting new products, project schedules, quality performance, and technical training.
* Gather market and customer insights and communicate these findings back to the organization.
* Support marketing efforts by analyzing market trends, monitoring government regulations, and soliciting customer feedback.
* Foster collaboration among team members and peers to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Contribute to promotional activities and participate in regional and international trade shows to showcase products and services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or related discipline.
* A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in sales and marketing, R&D, or a similar field.
* Familiarity with Light Commercial reciprocating compressor products.
* Understanding of compressor applications and regulations for Light Commercial markets.
* Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills in English and one additional European language.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
* Prior experience working with major Light Commercial Agents, OBMs, and OEMs is highly beneficial.
