Position Overview
STEPEVI is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager – Italy to expand and strengthen our Luxury Industry portfolio across the Italian market. This role is primarily growth-focused, with responsibility for developing new luxury brand relationships and securing retail and hospitality projects. While the position will oversee selected key accounts, day-to-day operational and order management support will be provided by the division team, allowing the Business Development Manager to focus on strategic expansion and pipeline generation.

* Expansion of B2B collaborations with Italian luxury houses
* Store Planning & Retail Rollout projects
* Flagship and Concept Store openings
* Luxury Hospitality Projects (branded hotels and residences)
Key Responsibilities
1. Key Account Oversight
* Maintain high-level relationships within selected key accounts.
* Oversee commercial strategy and growth within existing accounts.
* Coordinate with internal support teams handling order entry, sampling, and daily operational follow-ups.
* Ensure strong forecasting discipline and revenue visibility.
2. New Business Development
* Identify, approach, and secure new luxury brand partnerships in Italy.
* Establish direct relationships with Store Planning, Retail Development, Procurement, and Design teams.
* Position STEPEVI as a strategic, long-term partner
* Actively track upcoming store openings and refurbishment programs to secure early specification.
3. Hospitality & Project Development
* Develop relationships with hospitality operators, developers, and leading architecture and design studios with a special focus on branded hospitality projects led by luxury groups.
* Secure specification in luxury hotel and F&B projects.
* Manage long-cycle project pipelines with structured follow-up.
4. Commercial & Strategic Management
* Own and grow annual sales targets aligned with the division strategy.
* Maintain structured pipeline reporting and forecasting.
* Support margin strategy in collaboration with Division Director and HQ.
* Provide competitive and market intelligence to the Luxury Industry Division.
Profile
* 5+ years experience in business development or project sales within luxury interiors, high-end materials, retail design, or hospitality.
* Goal-oriented and performance-focused - must be comfortable working with sales targets.
* Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
* Strong network within Italian luxury brands and/or design ecosystem.
* Deep understanding of store planning and retail rollout processes.
* Proven ability to open doors and generate new revenue streams.
* Strong commercial acumen with disciplined pipeline management.
* Fluency in Italian and English required.
* Willingness to travel across Italy and internationally when required.
