Join the Financial Services Migrations and Modernization team as a Specialist Seller. In this role you will own AWS services, drive revenue by identifying customer needs and matching them to AWS solutions for enterprise applications such as Microsoft, SAP, and VMware, along with underlying storage and databases.
Key Responsibilities

- Identify high‑value customer opportunities within specific accounts and engage with customers, partners, and account teams to help customers succeed by choosing AWS services and accelerating adoption.
- Own the full‑cycle sales engagement plan with prospective customers, act as a trusted advisor to help close deals and ensure customer retention.
- Respond to qualified lead opportunities generated via field engagement activities.
- Maintain operating knowledge of the AWS service catalog aligned to your domain specialty, new service development, service changes, and relevant cross‑functional areas to build strong relationships with AWS customers.
- Qualify and pursue sales opportunities for enterprise application workloads and datacenter migration projects, including migrating SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint, VMware, or SAP applications to the AWS cloud.
- Engage with segment sales, solutions architects, partners, and professional services teams to drive highly complex opportunities to closure.
Basic Qualifications

- Experience in B2B or enterprise sales with a focus on hunting new business.
- Experience with cloud computing technologies.
- 10+ years of professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with Windows Server technologies.
- 4+ years of virtualization environment experience based on Microsoft Hyper‑V, KVM, and VMware products.
- Experience negotiating license or business development agreements.
