HR Plant Senior Manager – Novara Plant and Galliate Mill
Barilla G. & R. Fratelli is seeking to recruit a Human Resources Manager for Novara Plant and Galliate Mill.
The individual will report to the Novara Plant Director and functionally to the Human Resources Director Operations and Industrial Relations Italy.
Job Purpose
The person, to support plant results achievement and improvement, will provide support in the proper management and development of plant personnel, ensuring compliance with legislation, company processes, and agreements with labor unions that modify conditions set by national contracts. In collaboration with the Corporate HR team, they will help implement all HR processes in line with Group policies and programs.
Key Accountabilities
* Participate in the development of Barilla’s budget by working with F&A management and each department’s HR to define resource needs, evaluate labor costs, and set budgets for recruitment, training, and development activities. Analyze gaps between expected and actual variables.
* Ensure effective attraction, selection, and utilization of new personnel, both white-collar and blue-collar, aligning with workforce plans and plant needs, within the allocated budget.
* Guarantee appropriate technical and managerial training for plant personnel, collaborating with the Knowledge Management team, identifying participants, and evaluating training efficacy.
* Develop the Performance Management process by preparing meetings with union representatives, monitoring implementation, supporting managers and supervisors in conducting interviews, and identifying corrective actions as needed, following central HR guidelines.
* Implement specific company processes related to plant operations effectively.
* Manage procedures involving plant workers and oversee local labor law litigations.
* Ensure proper payroll, personnel management, and privacy procedures in collaboration with F&A management, complying with social security, fiscal, and contractual regulations.
* Contribute to local strategies for relations and negotiations with Trade Unions, including defining agreements, supervising their enactment, and supporting relations with union representatives, aligned with broader strategies by the Employee Relations team.
Qualifications
* University degree
* Basic knowledge of Italian labor law
