We are looking for a Sales Manager Cycling for our client Pirelli, the resource will deal with Responsibilities: - Develop the business by increasing customer base as well as by building and strengthening relationships with customers. - Carry out negotiations and sales activities, agreeing with customers on volumes, conditions of sales in order to achieve the targets of volumes, product mix and revenues. - Support the strategies and initiatives of the distributors in his area, to guarantee positive sales performances and business growths. - Visit all the markets/customers in the region to understand the different market situations and characteristics. - Monitor and report the activities and strategies of the competitors in the Area. - Participate to fairs/events in order to increase brand awareness, the knowledge of the product and the business opportunities in the countries under his/her responsibility. Understanding and experience working with various distribution models - Experience in the sporting goods industry would be beneficial - Passion and experience in cycling either professionally or recreationally - Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel - Must be fluent in English and additional European languages are considered a plus - Must have commercial acumen with the ability to be across the financials and KPIs for distributors - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - a proven influencer - A self starter with high integrity with strong ethics and personal brand - Highly collaborative, team oriented and respectful - Resilient and open to feedback - Positive and energetic with excellent emotional intelligence - Proactive, determined and driven - Ability to inspire and motivate - Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills with an attention to the bottom line - Business acumen with the ability to think outside the box.
