Your role
This position reports to the Brand Marketing Manager Lenses and supports the growth of the lenses category and marketing strategy implementation. The role is business-focused, working closely with stakeholders from sales, supply chain, and operations.
Main responsibilities:
* Manage Essilor brands to drive growth and value.
* Execute category and portfolio strategies, set brand targets, and work on positioning, distribution, and pricing.
* Implement local strategies and marketing plans following global guidelines, adapting to market needs.
* Develop marketing strategies including B2C/B2B trade marketing, activations, promotions, events, fairs, training, and minimal media/web management within legal frameworks.
* Analyze and monitor brand performance to inform strategies and corrective actions.
* Manage pricing strategies and related projects.
* Forecast units monthly and yearly with sales, finance, and supply chain teams.
* Prepare performance reviews regularly.
* Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and technologies.
* Collaborate with the Brand Marketing Manager to improve marketing processes.
* Prepare and monitor marketing budgets per brand, overseeing allocations and revisions.
* Support and guide sales and medical teams, gathering field feedback.
* Conduct regular competitor analysis.
* Focus on Lenses & Instruments, especially on the “red” network, Nikon, Kodak, and local brands like Stellest and Transitions.
* Support the vision and strategic planning for the lens category.
* Implement marketing action plans through direct reports.
* Work closely with sales teams and other stakeholders, maintaining a business-centric approach.
Main requirements:
* University degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or Marketing.
* Minimum 5 years of marketing experience in Medical Devices, Dermo-cosmetics, Pharma, or EyeCare sectors (e.g., Contact Lens Business).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Analytical mindset.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Languages: Turkish / English
