Drive Revenue Growth as a Senior Sales Manager MICE
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead our Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) sales efforts.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in selling to corporate and MICE clientele, with strong organizational, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
You will be responsible for driving business from the MICE segment by developing strategic relationships with corporations, event agencies, PCOs, and DMCs, securing group bookings, and maximizing hotel revenue through tailored sales initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
* Identify, develop, and maintain key MICE client and partner relationships.
* Build and execute a MICE sales strategy to achieve room night, event space, and revenue targets.
* Organize and conduct site inspections, client meetings, and sales trips to promote the hotel.
* Respond promptly to MICE RFPs with customized proposals and creative solutions.
* Negotiate group contracts ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
* Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and roadshows.
* Partner with catering, banquet, and operational teams to ensure event execution excellence.
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies.
* Maintain a strong presence in local and international MICE markets.
* Regularly update the CRM with client activities and maintain accurate forecasting and reporting.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar MICE-focused role within the hotel industry.
* Proven success in selling to corporate and MICE clientele.
* Strong organizational, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to work independently, under pressure, and manage multiple priorities.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
