Experteer Overview
In this role you drive sales for ABB Home Solutions, focusing on wiring accessories and door entry systems in Italy. You will build and nurture relationships with distributors, installers, and designers to achieve revenue, profitability and market share targets. You will implement territory plans, monitor performance and promote the full Home Solutions portfolio. The position sits within ABB Electrification, Smart Buildings – Home Solutions, contributing to sustainable growth and customer value. You will work cross‑functionally to deliver solutions and a great customer experience.
Responsibilities
* Sell Home Solutions products and solutions with emphasis on volume, mix and profitability
* Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with distributors, installers and designers
* Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
* Prepare and execute sales plans aligned with territory strategy
* Monitor sales performance and propose recovery actions as needed
* Create value for customers and ABB through solution selling
* Communicate delivery times, pricing and commercial terms clearly
* Identify and develop new business opportunities, especially in residential and light commercial segments
* Manage administrative sales processes and support cash collection and project follow‑up
* Prepare technical and commercial offers with marketing and proposal teams
* Ensure offers meet technical and financial requirements, including pricing and terms
Qualifications
* 3–5 years of experience in residential electrical or home automation, focusing on wiring accessories and/or door entry systems
* Solid experience with electrical distributors, installers and channel partners
* Knowledge of electrical products and residential Home Solutions offerings
* Comfort with CRM and sales tools and structured sales processes
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, customer engagement, and results orientation
* Degree or technical background in electrical engineering or equivalent is a plus
* Italian and English proficiency (additional languages a plus)
* Willingness to travel within the territory
