About the Role As Bartender, you will be at the heart of our exclusive bar, working alongside our F&B Manager to craft exceptional guest experiences. From creating inspired cocktail menus to managing the daily operations of the bar, you’ll play a key role in upholding the high standards of Dalen Hotel. The cocktail is based on classic cocktails spanning from 1894 and forward. High service level, table service and fast preparation time is key. Key Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional service, creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for guests. - Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, and beverages with precision and by the table. - Collaborate with the F&B team to ensure smooth service across the restaurant and bar. - Assist in hosting bar-related events or tastings to enhance the guest experience. - Curate and innovate seasonal cocktail menus featuring local ingredients from Telemark and Norway. - Maintain daily bar operations, including stock ordering, inventory control, and cleanliness. Who You Are - Creative and skilled: You have a passion for mixology, with a strong understanding of cocktail trends and classic techniques. - Guest-focused: You thrive on providing outstanding hospitality and creating memorable experiences. - Organized and detail-oriented: You manage inventory and bar operations with precision. - Flexible and adaptable: You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment with varying tasks and hours. - Team player: You collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments. Preferred Skills: - Proven experience as a bartender in a high-quality environment. - Knowledge of local and international spirits, wines, and craft beverages. - English proficiency is essential; Norwegian or other Scandinavian language is a plus.
