About The Role

Autronica is seeking to fill the position of Regional Sales Manager in our Maritime department, based in Genoa, Italy.
As Regional Sales Manager, you will manage our accounts in the maritime market, focusing on sales of new system solutions (fire detection, gas detection systems) to European shipyards. Your responsibilities include market analysis, budgeting, marketing, handling customer requests, and managing RFQs. You will coordinate sales activities in your assigned market, maintain customer relationships, and contribute to marketing and sales strategies.
Responsibilities
Your duties as a Regional Sales Manager include:
* Driving business growth by achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Managing customer purchase orders and ensuring follow-up and resolution.
* Overseeing delivery processes, sales receipts, and handover of documentation to relevant departments.
* Coordinating and reporting on additional orders, maintaining communication with teams.
* Executing strategic business plans to expand the customer base and market presence.
* Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships with yards, distributors, and end users.
* Accurately registering quotes, meetings, and related information in Salesforce.
Qualifications
You should have a customer-oriented attitude, excellent communication skills, and good commercial acumen. You must adapt quickly to changing situations, work independently, be highly organized, and possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ideal candidates will have:
* Extensive sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
* Experience managing the entire sales process from planning to closure.
* Strong business understanding, especially in the maritime industry.
* A degree in business administration, sales, engineering, or related fields is advantageous.
* Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce and ERP systems.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
* Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
* A commitment to professional development through workshops and seminars.
* Effective communication, presentation, and influence skills across organizational levels.
