Duties and Responsibilities
As a Bartender, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the following:
* Greet all guests courteously and attentively.
* Be familiar with the preparation, ingredients, and presentation of all drinks offered in the menus.
* Inspect the condition and cleanliness of menus and wine lists.
* Work with an empathetic attitude.
* Ensure the prompt and efficient service of all beverages according to resort standards.
* Prepare mis-en-place for cocktails and drinks prior to service in all beverage outlets.
* Have good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and F&B daily activities.
* Be aware of all F&B outlet opening hours.
* Know menu prices and suggest upselling when appropriate.
* Keep all departmental equipment clean and in good working condition.
* Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
* Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
Qualifications
To succeed as a Bartender at Six Senses, I should have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
* High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of bartender experience in a full-service outlet or similar setting. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized institution is preferred.
* Experience in cocktail-making, beverage service, garnishing, and extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks.
* Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local laws.
* Fluent in Italian and proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
* Eligible to work in Italy (only EU citizens).
