BUSINESS ANALYST / PROJECT COORDINATOR (SOFTWARE)
\n
Role Overview:
\nWe are looking for a\nBusiness Analyst / Project Coordinator\nto support the delivery of fintech and banking-related\ncustom software projects\n.\n
The role focuses on\nrequirements analysis, software delivery coordination and communication with development teams\n, acting as a key link between customers and internal technical teams.
\n
You will contribute to ensuring smooth execution of software projects, timely releases and alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
\n
Key Responsibilities:
\nThe selected candidate will support project planning, execution and monitoring of\nsoftware development projects\n, with a strong focus on coordinating activities between customers, developers and operations teams.\n
The role includes collecting and analyzing customer requirements, translating them into structured functional specifications, and supporting the prioritization of development activities and project timelines. The candidate will coordinate the daily activities of Banking Operations and Banking Data Management teams in alignment with software delivery needs.
\n
Responsibilities also include managing and tracking customer tickets related to software functionalities and issues, supporting backlog organization and ensuring proper follow-up with development teams.
\n
The candidate will act as an operational point of contact for customers on ongoing software projects, ensuring clear and continuous communication on requirements, progress and releases. Additional activities include preparing project documentation, supporting testing and validation phases, coordinating releases and maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with internal quality standards and procedures.
\n
Requirements:
\nCandidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or in Business Administration, Economics or Finance with a strong IT focus.\n
At least one year of experience in\nsoftware project coordination, software delivery or functional analysis roles\nis required, preferably in environments involving custom software development.
\n
Experience working with software development teams and familiarity with\nrequirements gathering and functional analysis\nare strongly preferred. A good understanding of the\nsoftware development lifecycle (SDLC)\nis expected.
\n
The role requires hands-on exposure to software development projects (not only IT operations or support).
\n
Familiarity with project management and ticketing tools such as Zendesk or Jira is required
\n
Skills and Competencies:
\nThe ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a\nsoftware delivery environment\n.\n
Excellent communication skills are essential to interact effectively with both customers and technical teams. The candidate should be able to understand business needs and translate them into structured and clear requirements for developers.
\n
An analytical mindset, attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude are key to success in this role. A customer-oriented approach and the ability to manage ongoing interactions in dynamic project contexts are also required.
\n
Fluency in English and Italian\n, both written and spoken, is required.
\n
