About the roleWe are looking for a Business Development Manager based in Verona. This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and important member of a growing, well‐funded company. You'll collaborate with Italy's most premium and regarded restaurants.
As a member of the regional sales team, you will report to the Sales Lead and your role will focus on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores.
What you'll be doing
Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organised fashion, becoming an area‐level expert on up‐and‐coming restaurants and customer preferences.
Support partners in joining Deliveroo, providing the best experience to them.
Communicate with restaurants via physical visits, email, calls or social media to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
Help restaurant owners/managers overcome any barriers or hesitations.
Attend restaurant and food meet‐ups.
Requirements
Comfortable with targeting new business and have sales experience.
Confidence and experience dealing with partners/customers, face‐to‐face, phone or email.
Experience in demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.
Comfortable with negotiations.
Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
Tenacious attitude.
