Manpower, On Site Division, is recruiting on behalf of a multinational company operating in the Energy Transition sector an E&P Project Controller to be based at the Florence plant.
Job Summary
The E&P Project Controller is a key member of the Equipment & Projects Finance team and works in close partnership with the Project Management organization.
The role leverages data and financial analysis to support decision‑making, with a strong focus on process simplification, accuracy, and compliance with controllership governance.
Please note: this position operates in an international environment, and daily interaction with an English‑speaking manager and global stakeholders is required.
As the direct manager does not speak Italian, fluent English is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure governance and control over project costs
- Lead Project Margin Reviews to define project margins for revenue recognition purposes
- Assess cost estimate exposures, risks, and opportunities, and determine the need for reserves
- Perform detailed variance analysis versus budgets and benchmarks to identify productivity improvement opportunities
- Actively participate in reviews and discussions held entirely in English with international stakeholders
- Contribute to strategic digitization and simplification initiatives (e.g. systems implementation, cross‑functional processes, RPA) as a team leader or contributor
- Perform other finance‑related duties as assigned

- Hold a degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or an equivalent discipline from an accredited university or college
- Have relevant professional experience, preferably within the finance function of a multinational company
- Have experience using financial systems such as Oracle and OBIEE
- Be fully fluent in English, both written and spoken – mandatory requirement
