We are looking for a Commis de Rang for the upcoming season 2025 to join our restaurant team.
The ideal candidate is open to new challenges and eager to develop professionally. He/she is committed to supporting the team in providing authentic and luxurious dining experiences, demonstrating care, curiosity, and a sense of community.
He/She should possess strong customer service skills.
He/She reports to the Chef de Rang .
Main duties & responsibilities:
* Fulfill operations according to company policies, high standards, and procedures.
* Prepare and maintain mise en place.
* Support the Chef de Rang during service.
* Clean and set up floors, tables, chairs, linens, glassware, and silverware for service.
* Monitor all aspects of the customer's experience, from restaurant layout before arrival to service delivery, acting to ensure flawless service and anticipating guests' needs.
Requirements:
* Effective communication: communicate clearly and appropriately (verbally and non-verbally).
* Emotional intelligence: show sensitivity to guests' and colleagues' needs and emotions, and manage own emotions in challenging situations.
* Adaptability: recognize when a different approach is needed and offer solutions; be open to new ways of working.
* Collaboration: willing to work as part of a team, share information and skills, and actively seek and provide feedback.
Other requirements:
* Fluent in Italian and basic English skills.
* Degree in Tourism or Hospitality preferred.
* Previous professional experience in a similar role, including internships.
* Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally.
* References.
* HACCP Certification.
* Good knowledge of wines (AIS certification is a plus).
Benefits:
* Seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 6s, Commis de Rang.
* Start date: March 2025; end date: January 2026, with potential for ongoing collaboration in subsequent seasons.
* Monthly gross salary approximately €1,500, with separate payslips for 13th, 14th month, and TFR.
