Key Responsibilities Inside Sales Executive – you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by converting qualified leads, developing new business opportunities and managing a strong sales pipeline to achieve and exceed targets. Sales Performance & Target Delivery Achieve and exceed annual sales targets aligned with business priorities Develop and execute clear action plans to drive consistent performance Deliver agreed KPIs through a balanced mix of lead conversion, outbound activity and pipeline management Lead Management & Conversion Manage marketing-generated leads in a timely and professional manner Conduct effective discovery conversations to understand client needs Convert opportunities at or above agreed conversion rates Pipeline Development Proactively build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking and follow-ups Ensure sufficient value at every stage of the pipeline Take corrective action where gaps or shortfalls are identified Quotation & Proposal Management Prepare, manage and follow up on quotations and proposals Apply pricing models effectively to achieve required margins Drive opportunities through to successful contract closure CRM & Reporting Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce and CRM systems Record all client interactions, proposals and follow-up actions Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Work closely with Marketing, Service Delivery and Sales colleagues Ensure seamless handover of new business contracts Escalate risks or issues promptly to protect client experience Essential Skills & Experience Proven track record in B2B or B2C sales Consistent achievement of sales targets Strong pipeline development and lead conversion experience Experience preparing quotations, bids and proposals Commercial awareness and margin management Strong communication and active listening skills Ability to prioritise and work independently Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and standard IT tools Desirable Experience presenting proposals to senior stakeholders Knowledge of the Inspection Services sector What Success Looks Like Consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets Maintaining a robust, value-driven pipeline High lead conversion rates Accurate forecasting and CRM discipline Strong collaboration across internal teams Our Values Expertise – Leveraging deep knowledge while continuously improving Integrity – Doing what is right, always Ambition – Combining innovation and expertise to lead our industry Vision – Preparing clients for a safer, more sustainable future Togetherness – Achieving more through collaboration and inclusion Diversity and Inclusion at LRQA We are on a mission to be the place where we all want to work and we are passionate about embracing different perspectives because we understand the value this brings to our business, our clients and each other.
