About The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in Pisa, Toscana. This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and important member of a growing, well‑funded company. You'll collaborate with Italy's most premium and regarded restaurants. As a member of the regional sales team, you will report to the Sales Lead and focus on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores.
What You'll Be Doing
* Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organised fashion.
* Support partners in joining Deliveroo, providing them the best experience.
* Communicate (physical visits, email, calls, or social media) with restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.
* Help restaurant owners/managers overcome any barriers or hesitations.
* Attend restaurant and food meet‑ups.
Requirements
* Comfortable targeting new business and have sales experience.
* Confidence or experience dealing with partners/customers through phone, email or face‑to‑face.
* Experience demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.
* Comfortable with negotiations.
* Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.
* Tenacious.
