Product Sales Specialist at Leica Microsystems
Leica Microsystems, part of Danaher, is looking for a Product Sales Specialist to drive sales and profitability in Italy for its European Sales team. You will work remotely while traveling to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute sales plans using the agreed European Sales Methodology in Italy to meet sales and profitability targets.
* Prepare accurate weekly and monthly pipeline data in SFDC for forecasting on confocal and widefield product lines.
* Plan visits with local sales agents to maintain relationships with existing customers, monitor satisfaction, and track competitor activity.
* Plan and organize workshops and represent the company at trade meetings to promote products.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 4 years of sales experience in the Life Science Market.
* Strong communication skills and sound business acumen.
* Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent experience.
* Proven record of successful selling of high‑tech instruments.
* Fluency in Italian and English.
Travel, Vehicle, and Physical Requirements
* Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Desirable Additional Experience
* Consistent sales growth demonstrating business success.
* Strong negotiation skills and building relationships with key accounts.
* Knowledge of Italian purchase procedures.
