About Experimental Roma
Opening in mid-2026 on Via Ludovisi, just off the legendary Via Veneto, Experimental Roma will be a vibrant and cinematic new destination from Experimental. Housed in a former bank, the hotel has been transformed by interior designer Rodolphe Parente into a space that embodies the essence of la dolce vita: elegant, timeless, and irresistibly Italian. About The Job
As a Sommelier, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional wine experience to our guests, from presentation and service to expert advice and cellar management.
Responsibilities
Serve wines at the table following professional standards: opening, decanting, presentation and commentary, tasting, and serving by the glass
Maintain excellent knowledge of all wine products
Contribute to high-quality guest reception and service
Perform end-of-service tasks: cleaning, organizing, and preparing for the next service
Ensure all work areas are kept in optimal condition (cleanliness, maintenance, and functionality)
Act as a mentor: share knowledge with the team through tastings and training sessions
Stay up to date on the latest wine trends and have thorough knowledge of the food menu
Analyze sales to manage restocking and inventory
