Visit assigned wholesalers and C&C customers based on call frequency, gaining deep knowledge of customer structure, policies, and selling methods. Analyze and recommend the best wholesalers supporting RTC objectives, develop positive relationships with key distributors, and drive educational programs for the wholesale sales force. Negotiate commercial agreements aligned with Diageo Italia’s policies, deliver Joint Business Plans (JBPs), and implement sell-out programs such as leaflets and sales incentives. Set clear sales targets and KPIs. Monitor performance to ensure activities within JBPs are executed effectively, verify sell-out data, and drive corrective actions where necessary. Collaborate with wholesale sales teams to identify partnership opportunities, monitor customer performance, and propose corrective measures. Manage OTC processes including customer onboarding, order collection, credit collection, and payment allocation. Develop relationships with Account Executives, provide market insights, and suggest new opportunities for customer growth. Achieve key outcomes such as top rankings in CPG, exceptional customer results, and maximized Diageo returns through strategic customer management, pricing, and promotional investments. Execute sales activation plans effectively, identify new volume and profit opportunities, and respond swiftly to market changes, ensuring alignment with the European activation calendar and internal sales tools.
