Active management and development of existing customer relationshipsIdentification and acquisition of new customers within defined target segmentsRegular on-site customer visits and ongoing support via phone and email.
Sales Strategy Execution & Revenue Targets
Execution of the Client's sales strategy in the Italian marketResponsibility for achieving agreed revenue targets and KPIsOngoing market and competitor monitoring with structured reporting to the Client.
Quotation & Contract Support
Preparation and follow-up of quotationsSupport of contract negotiations and closing preparations in alignment with the Client.
Interfaces & Reporting
Close collaboration with Customer Service, Marketing, and Product ManagementRegular reporting on market and customer developments, visit reports, and forecastsPreparation of business cases and presentation for internal and external stakeholders.Representation of the Client at trade fairs, industry events, and customer functions.
Willingness to travel frequently across Italy for customer visits, events, and trade fairs.Profile
Completed degree in Business, Management, or a comparable qualification3–5 years of professional experience in Business Development; proven industry experience in the packaging/industrial sector – a mustStrong knowledge of the Italian marketStrong hunter mentality: you enjoy acquiring new customers, building networks, and actively developing business opportunitiesResults-oriented, proactive, and independent working styleExcellent communication and negotiation skills at all levelsEntrepreneurial mindset and strong analytical abilitiesHigh level of initiative, team spirit, and goal orientationExcellent English and Italian skills, both written and spoken.
