OverviewThe Business Development Manager is responsible for creating, growing and managing an account base. Accountable to directly identify and initiate development efforts. Develops new business across all of our core competenciesIdentify, initiate and engage with clients that provide sustained and profitable revenue streams across multiple servicesDevelop and execute a business plan that will achieve sales quota and budget as defined by the companySupport and consulting of existing customers as well as further development of a professional cooperationConducting sales and negotiation meetingsPreparation of offers and calculationsProcessing of customer correspondencePreparation and assembly of accompanying documents (offers, concepts, presentations, etc.)Planning; organization and execution of customer visitsRecording and ensuring data maintenance in the CRM as well as for cross-departmental topics in the CRMImplementation of regular review meetings
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalentCompleted further training as a forwarding specialist5+ year's relevant business to business sales experience in Logistics, Freight Forwarding or Supply Chain Industry preferredNative level Italian and very good English language skills
