The Vice President will assume some business development responsibilities, including new business and revenue generation, coordinates and runs client meetings, transaction processes and conference calls for mid to small-sized clients. They will perform complex analytical work and direct junior staff on large projects. Develops firm arrangements for conferences and coordinates work on proposals and presentations. /ph3What We're Looking For /h3olliDevelop client relationships, including revenue generation (new deal flow) and business development. /liliDevelop financial analyses for bond issuance including revenue models, amortizations, debt profiles and the analysis of refinancing and borrowing. /liliResearch and analyze client needs and opportunities and develop recommended financing plans. /liliGenerate creative and innovative ideas that meet clients' financial needs. /liliDesign, prepare or oversee preparation of client pitchbooks and RFP responses. /liliComplete or oversee all tasks related to completion of bond transactions. /liliReview and comment on bond documents. /liliLead conference calls and meetings relating to transactions and has significant direct client contact. /liliCoordinate with financial advisors, attorneys and other professionals to complete bond transactions. /liliAttend client meetings and conferences to help develop and maintain client relationships. /liliSelectively identify and pursue Public Finance origination of new and repeat business. /liliTrain, mentor and serve as a role model for junior bankers. /liliSome travel by car and/or air in conjunction with local, regional and/or national travel, up to 30-50% of time. /li /olh3What You'll Bring /h3olliStrong knowledge and understanding of the municipal bond market, how bonds are underwritten and distributed. /liliStrong understanding of the fundamental finance concepts, practices and procedures used in the municipal securities industry. /liliStrong understanding and skill in quantitative financial analysis and data modeling with advanced Excel skills desirable. /liliStrong interpersonal interaction and able to work well with others.
