We are strengthening our Commercial area and offer an opportunity as Commercial Excellence Manager for the Region Italy-Romania – Greece.
The Commercial Excellence Manager, reporting to the Sales Director MHC, will lead commercial business initiatives to drive growth through improved efficiency and standardized practices in both Medical and Consumer. The function also serves as the Project Lead for strategic organizational processes and selling initiatives to achieve Uriach’s annual revenue, growth, and profitability targets.
Be prepared to:
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored for different channels (medical, pharmacy, wholesalers, e-commerce) aligned with regional objectives.
- Implement Sales force efficiency (segmentation, targeting and call plan creation).
- Structure incentive systems.
- Manage product forecasts.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to optimize sales processes, drive efficiency, and enhance sales effectiveness.
- Implement performance management systems and KPIs to supervise sales performance.
- Analyze sales data (sell-in and sell-out) to identify improvements and growth opportunities with actionable insights.
- Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to ensure alignment on sales initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between departments to streamline processes and achieve goals.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis on trends, threats, and opportunities.
- Use market insights to advise strategic decision-making and drive regional sales growth.
For this role we require:
- Experience of 5–7 years in commercial excellence, salesforce effectiveness, or business analytics in Pharma, preferably with a demand-generation model based on medical detailing.
- Experience in sales as a medical representative or medical area manager; international company experience is a plus.
- Field experience in the pharmacy channel is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or science subjects.
- In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and distribution channels.
- Analytical and quantitative mindset with data-driven, business-oriented approach.
- Results-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills at different levels.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis tools (Power BI, Salesforce, Veeva) and proficiency in English.
