Inside the Business Development unit, responsibilities include supporting activities to secure pipeline growth aligned with company targets and progressing projects through acquisition, filing, and towards Financial Close, Construction, and Operation stages. The role also involves regularly reporting and updating project authorization timelines, environmental issues/solutions, liquidity prospects, and budgeting via the company's IT platform. Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate with internal support functions (Legal, Grid, Commercial Engineering, Power Markets, Planning, Structured Finance) and external advisors to evaluate greenfield and co-development opportunities within PV and BESS markets, ensuring pipeline growth aligned with targets. Support and coordinate with third-party developers or service providers in applying for relevant permits and obtaining legal authorizations for ground-mounted photovoltaic plants and BESS units. Assist in document integration and feedback processes with authorities during permitting. Support updating and transmitting forecasting dashboards to top management, covering timelines, budgets, cash flow, and financial impacts of unforeseen factors. Coordinate environmental mitigation efforts with third-party developers and local authorities. Interface with authorities, stakeholders, municipalities, and landowners involved in project authorization processes. Assist other teams in M&A deals or disputes, including financial modeling and technical due diligence. Who We’re Looking For Knowledge Understanding of current regulation frameworks in the Italian PV and BESS markets. Strong knowledge of greenfield development and co-development processes. Ability to incorporate assumption changes into financial models. Excellent command of English. Knowledge of constraints analysis for PV sites and GIS environment is a plus. Qualifications Degree in Engineering or equivalent (minimum five years). Experience At least 5 years’ experience as a Business Development Manager in the PV market. Experience in the BESS market is advantageous. Proven skills in managing relations with public organizations.
