Ph3About the Job /h3 pFor a specialist software provider serving the textile and apparel industry, we are seeking a Senior Sales Specialist with a primary focus on bERP Business Development /b. This is a field‑oriented, revenue‑focused role responsible for identifying and closing new ERP projects and complementary software solutions, building a robust pipeline, and converting demos into long‑term projects rather than one‑off license sales. /p h3About the Role /h3 pWe are looking for a hands‑on Senior Sales Specialist who combines sector knowledge with commercial execution. You will own the go‑to‑market approach for ERP and adjacent solutions across the textile value chain (from spinning to finished garment and finishing), run discovery and demo activities, and coordinate with Key Account Managers, technical teams and senior management to shape proposals and close projects. The ideal candidate has direct experience selling ERP or complex software projects (preferably in textile/fashion or adjacent manufacturing), is comfortable negotiating multi‑stakeholder deals, and thrives working on the road and at trade fairs. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liBuild and execute a scalable commercial plan to generate new ERP project opportunities and pipeline. /li liProspect, qualify and manage new business leads across the textile and apparel ecosystem. /li liConduct discovery sessions and product demos; translate customer needs into end‑to‑end project proposals. /li liDrive the full sales cycle from first contact to contract signing, coordinating internal stakeholders. /li liRepresent the company at industry trade shows and events; develop relationships with prospects and partners. /li liNegotiate commercial terms, pricing and project scope to secure profitable, long‑term engagements. /li liTrack and report sales metrics (demos to new prospects, new projects won, conversion rates) and contribute to MBO targets. /li liMonitor market trends and competitor activity to refine positioning and product offering. /li /ul h3Your Profile /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree or equivalent; degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or related field preferred. /li li5–8+ years of B2B commercial experience; proven track record selling ERP or complex software projects. /li liPreferable background in textile/fashion software vendors; candidates from ERP in adjacent manufacturing sectors considered. /li liStrong understanding of textile and apparel processes and terminology, or ability to learn sector specifics quickly. /li liExcellent consultative selling skills, with experience running demos, scoping projects and closing multi‑stakeholder deals. /li liNegotiation skills and commercial mindset; results‑driven and data‑oriented. /li liComfortable working autonomously as an individual contributor and collaborating with cross‑functional teams. /li liWillingness to travel frequently across Italy; active participation in trade fairs required. /li liItalian native or fluent; English working proficiency appreciated. /li /ul h3Location /h3 pPreferably Milano.
