Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for an Export Manager – Mercati Internazionali (Pet Food), based in Bologna, with some opportunity for remote work. The Export Manager will oversee international sales activities, develop and implement business plans, and expand the company's presence in new markets. Key responsibilities include managing client relationships, negotiating trade agreements, conducting market analysis, and ensuring regulatory compliance for international trade operations.
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in Export and International Trade, with proven ability to manage logistics and develop export strategies.
* Experience in Business Planning and devising strategies for international market entry and business growth.
* Knowledge of International Business practices, including cultural nuances and global market trends.
* Proficiency in Sales with a focus on building and managing relationships with distributors and international partners.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
* Fluency in Italian and English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
* Bachelor's degree in International Business, Marketing, or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in export or international trade, preferably in the pet food or FMCG sector.
* Flexibility to travel for business purposes.
