Overview
Leica Microsystems, a Danaher operating company, is looking for a Product Sales Specialist to drive sample preparation growth and expand direct sales and profit margins in Italy. This remote and travelling role reports to the Sales Manager Italy and focuses on the Italian territory within the West Sales team.
Responsibilities
* Execute Sales Plans & Activities using the agreed European Sales Methodology and coordinate closely with the sales agents team to achieve sales and profitability targets.
* Prepare accurate weekly and monthly pipeline data in SFDC for sales forecasts for confocal and widefield product lines.
* Plan and conduct regular visits with local sales agents to existing customers, monitoring requirements, satisfaction levels, business trends and competitor activity; maintain close contact at appropriate levels of key accounts and serve as their main contact.
* Plan and organize workshops at customer sites; represent the company at trade meetings to promote products.
Qualifications
* Minimum 4 years of strong sales experience in the Life Science market.
* Strong communication skills and sound business acumen.
* Degree preferably in Life Sciences, or equivalent experience.
* Proven record of successful selling of high‑tech instruments.
* Fluency in Italian and English.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
* Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
