The Restaurant Manager maintains and controls a high level of guest service by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service, demonstrated by the restaurant staff. The manager is also responsible for the hiring, training, supervising, and disciplining of the staff. /ph3What You Will Do /h3ulliRecruit, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all restaurant employees in ensuring that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and planning for outlet operation. /liliAbility to be visible in the operation, provide Guests recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts. /liliDescribe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive dining experience. /liliControl labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, Menu Engineering and inventory and cash control. /liliWork closely with the Director of Restaurants, Executive Chef and Sommelier to design an effective menu and wine list while ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price. /liliAttend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments. /liliHold a monthly departmental meeting and foster an open communication within the restaurant staff. /liliObserve physical condition and cleanliness of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed. /liliAssist with the service of food to guests. /liliAssist in making dining reservations and seating of guests. /liliAssist with the cleaning of operational areas. /li /ulh3What You Bring /h3ulliEducation: academic education or equivalent experience. /liliExperience: must have a minimum of 2 years Management experience in a luxury environment and/or a Michelin starred restaurant. /liliMust possess strong leadership, organizational and people skills, as well as a drive to deliver an exceptional level of service. /liliProblem solving, benchmark, innovation capacities are expected for this position. /liliExtensive knowledge of food and wine, guest service, cost control, labor control, menu writing, merchandising and accounting are required. /liliReading, writing and oral proficiency in the Italian and English language. /li /ulh3What You Can Expect /h3pFour Seasons Hotels and Resorts can offer what many hospitality professionals dream of: the opportunity to build a life-long career with global potential and a real sense of pride in work well done.
