Overview
BOBST is a leading supplier of equipment and services to packaging and label manufacturers. The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is the headquarters of the Bobst Group.
Responsibilities
* Define and implement Global Category strategy - strategic benchmark, internal stakeholder alignment multi-site
* Drive supplier sourcing activities for the category, including regular technology intelligence monitoring
* Develop a pipeline of cost reduction initiatives and opportunities across all sourcing levers
* Act as a Key Account Manager for strategic vendors
* Liaise with stakeholders to ensure they adopt and deliver strategy sourcing plans
* Ensure consistency of sourcing roadmap data and target achievements
* Define, adopt by stakeholders and drive execution of Category Strategy
* Lead negotiation, business review and key commercial terms with its suppliers
* 80% Contract and NDA coverage with all suppliers
* Coordinate and deliver the cost reduction projects according to the roadmap across sites / PL and functions
* Lead Category budget preparation
* Supplier market analysis and benchmark, technology intelligence monitoring
* Manage and promote category activities across sites / PL
* Functional management of Global Buyers
* 5+ years international and global Sourcing experience
* Experience within a global complex organization
* Master degree, engineering background is a plus
* Leadership and change management capability
* Global mindset

* Cross-functional management
* Ability to negotiate and influence
* Travel willingness
* Fluently English is a must, Italian and German is a plus

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.
It also trains each year roughly 200 apprentices. The site offers an idyllic work environment. In the countryside and close to major highways, it is also well served by public transport. It offers many amenities, such as a corporate restaurant, sports fields, a fitness and a nursery. The facilities have been recently renovated and represent a model for sustainable development.
