Global Business Development Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Business Development Manager to join our team in Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing business strategies across regions to drive profitable growth and increase penetration in sales and demand creation performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop global strategy and implement site tactics to drive top line revenue and increase gross profit margin.
* Develop deep understanding of customer needs and challenges and formulate strategies with regional and branch personnel to position the company for growth.
* Present value proposition by providing customers with value-added solutions and corporate initiatives to enhance service capabilities at all customer sites.
* Work with branch and regional management to set, implement, drive, and monitor sales and margin budgets globally by site.
* Drive key supplier initiatives outlined by marketing at each customer site to ensure corporate supplier commitments are achieved.
Requirements:
* Commercially astute and resilient with consistent proven sales track within the company or other electronic distribution business for the past five years.
* Educated to degree standard, ideally with a technical or business nature.
* Demonstrated understanding of technical team by achieving a designated number of designs in.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Highly organised and accurate, able to work under pressure and maintain extensive attention to detail.
* Able to work under own initiative and as member of a team.
