We’re Hiring: Business Developer @ The Paperplane Workshop
The Paperplane Workshop is an Italian design-to-production consultancy for footwear, apparel, and accessories. We partner with international brands across design, development, sourcing, and production, turning ideas into finished products.
We’re looking for a Business Developer to grow our client portfolio in Europe and the US. Someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and closing deals in the fashion & footwear space.
What you’ll do
* Identify and approach new brand partners
* Build long-term relationships with design directors, sourcing managers, and founders
* Represent us at trade shows, events, and client meetings
* Shape proposals and service offers with the CEO
* Hand over projects seamlessly to our design & ops team
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience in business development / sales in fashion, footwear, or consumer goods
* Strong network of industry contacts (Europe/US)
* Excellent communication & negotiation skills
* Entrepreneurial mindset — a self-starter who loves creating opportunities
* Fluent in English (Italian is a plus)
