We are looking for an Head Bartender for our amazing Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia.
Head Bartender provides knowledge of wines, spirits and mixed drinks including origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
Duties and Responsabilities:
· Have a passion for wines and spirits with the ability to recommend and advise guests
· Ensure proper pouring, mixing, blending, of drinks
· Cashing up
· Serve drinks to guests, along with filling orders for the Food and Cocktail Servers
As a Head Bartender, you will supervise the bar service to offer a high quality, efficient beverage service that adds to a superior Guest experience and is in accordance with licensing regulations associated with alcoholic beverages;
You will be the face of the outlet, communicating with the kitchen and the guests alike ensuring a smooth and memorable experience;
Delivering a five star luxury lifestyle service experiences;
Knowing our menu and product – you are our number two on the Bar, and every recommendation you make reflects your knowledge, experience and your reputation as a senior bar professional;
Leading the Bar team on day to day duties supporting the wider F&B Management team with daily operational tasks;
Conduct weekly training sessions on beverage pouring practice, cocktail mixing, and up-selling.
Work Experience:
· Creating an attractive atmosphere through service and ambiance
· Deliver beverages an meals to our guests across Food & Beverage outlets
· Ensure all purchases are processed accurately
· Daily preparation and closing of bar area, including stock management and cleaning duties
· Be attentive and proactive with the ability to respond quickly to the needs of the guest and restaurant management team
· Control the bar during service, taking orders and issuing bills and act as the lead when the Bar Manager is absent
· Coach new bartenders and bar backs following a training schedule and ensure the correct standards and methods of service are maintained
· Have an understanding of stock control and assist the Bar Manager in weekly stock taking
· Responsible for managing all Bar operations to deliver unrivalled guest experience, with a focus on creativity and authenticity
· Responsible for continually checking that guest service standards are set, implemented and monitored in line with set standards
Requisiti
Qualifications for Head Bartender:
· Preferable a relevant degree in Business or Hospitality
· Must be at the minimum age to serve alcohol in line with local legislative requirements
· Personal license is desirable
· Monitor bar opening and closing duties and completed daily to standard by bartenders
· College Degree in Hotel Management
· Strong abilities spoken and written in italian and in english are required
· EU Citizenship
