Overview

In this role, you build and sustain strategic, long‐term relationships with key accounts, aligning Synopsys/Ansys solutions to customer initiatives. You serve as the primary technical contact, coordinating cross‐functional resources to win and expand business. You influence product direction through field feedback and drive technical campaigns to enable deployment and adoption. You will work in a fast‐paced, global environment helping customers solve complex, high‐tech challenges.Responsibilities

  • Establish long‐term customer relationships and align solutions with business initiatives
  • Coordinate with EAM to define global technical activities and marshal resources
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned accounts across all physics and product lines
  • Identify opportunities to expand footprint, displace competitors, and drive global adoption
  • Review technical support activities with local teams to ensure quality and follow‐up
  • Maintain close collaboration with ANSYS Development for defects and enhancements
  • Support account‐based marketing campaigns to drive technology adoption
  • Lead qualification and technical campaigns for complex engagements and market sizing
  • Lead account‐based marketing strategy and technology deployment initiatives
Qualifications
  • BS in Electronics, Thermal, or Mechanical engineering
  • 8+ years in an engineering software environment with relevant experience
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Strong knowledge of Ansys/Synopsys simulation tools and workflows in electromagnetic, SI, or semiconductor areas preferred
  • Experience mapping customer requirements to multiple product lines across physics domains
  • Strong organizational and time‐management skills with a sense of urgency
  • Proven ability to collaborate across distributed global teams
  • 4+ years in application engineering, customer support, or consulting with engineering software
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior business managers and executives
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically (50% preferred)
  • Previous electronics/semiconductor domain experience preferred
